Forward-thinking governance, risk, and ethics leader with 20+ years of experience in corporate governance, financial regulation, business ethics, compliance, and responsible AI policy. I bring expertise as both an executive and board member, with service on 11 trustee and advisory boards—including a ’40 Act fund board, multiple non-profit boards, and advisory committees—with active participation on nominating and governance committees. As a recognized speaker, researcher, and writer on ethical leadership and emerging technologies, I’ve published over 35 pieces in outlets such as Fortune, Kiplinger, Reuters, and Behavioral Scientist.

Currently, I serve as the Managing Director of the American College Maguire Center for Ethics and hold the position of Associate Professor and Charles Lamont Post Chair of Business Ethics at The American College of Financial Services.  My research and teaching activities include the ethics and regulation of AI in financial services, trust in financial services, ESG and systems-level investment considerations, and the behavioral science of ethical decision-making.

I'm actively engaged in conducting workshops and training sessions on business ethics, including spearheading the American College's annual Mitchell Forum on Ethical Leadership, and teaching and designing courses for the American College, including the M.S. in Financial Planning and the Trust Certificate Program. My passion for cultivating ethical leaders and addressing contemporary challenges in trust, behavioral science, and AI underscores my dedication to driving positive change in society through business.
