I study and teach business ethics, with an emphasis on financial services. My current work relates to trust, behavioral science, artificial intelligence, and general ethical leadership challenges.
I'm a lawyer by training, and have worked in multiple sectors throughout my career, including regulatory/government, the private sector, and academia. I've spent much of my career working on systems to help manage, study, or regulate social and ethical business.
Currently, I'm the Executive Director of the American College Maguire Center for Ethics, and
an Associate Professor and the Charles LaMont Post Chair of Business Ethics at The American College for Financial Services.
I was recently Chair of the NY State Bar Association International Section (2022-2023), and am also a Co-chair (and Co-founder) of the Social Finance and Enterprise Committee (formerly titled, Microfinance and Financial Inclusion)
In addition to teaching, I conduct business ethics workshop and trainings, including the College's annual Ethical Leadership Forum.
