Filabi Law & Advisory PLLC provides governance and legal advisory services at the intersection of financial services, artificial intelligence, and institutional accountability. 

A member of the New York State Bar since 2005 and a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Azish Filabi began her legal career at the New York City office of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP before joining the Legal Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where she served as Counsel, A.V.P., and Ethics Officer during a critical period of financial regulatory reform. 

Drawing on two decades of experience spanning corporate transactions, financial regulation, investment stewardship, and applied research in AI governance, the firm advises institutional clients — including financial services organizations, philanthropic foundations, and mission-driven enterprises — on governance design, responsible AI frameworks, and regulatory accountability. Azish is available as an expert witness in matters involving technology governance and compliance practices, and conducts reviews of corporate compliance policies, including whistleblower policies and AI use policies. 

The firm brings a scholar-practitioner perspective to each engagement, combining rigorous legal analysis with deep expertise in the governance and accountability standards that determine how institutions earn and sustain trust.
